People who work out on vacation are nothing short of impressive. I have a hard enough time making it to the gym when I'm not on vacation; the thought of dragging my ass off from the beach-or mountains, or [49] ~ cardio cardio is almost unfathomable to me.

My problem isn't just a motivational one, though—it's also logistical. There have been some (albeit rare) instances where I've caught myself thinking: You know what would be nice right now? Getting my sweat on. But each time I have, I've found myself completely unprepared; I almost never pack workout gear or clothing—sometimes I don't even pack a pair of tennis shoes. (I recently learned that some websites, including Westin and Fairmont, will lend you workout gear, including sneakers, during your stay.) Good for know.)

But people manage. There are real genuine humans who work out on vacation—and who do so regularly. They've figured out what fitness-centric stuff is worth throwing in their suitcases and what's worth leaving behind; a happy medium exists between being woefully unprepared and attempting to pack an entire gym in your bag, and they've found it.

Here, those people share the 27 easy-to-pack items that make working out on vacation way more convenient, no matter where you are.
